I am a 600+ Qigong Certified Instructor, recognized by the National Qigong Association. Some of the areas I work with are the 12 meridians, Extraordinary Meridians, the Major Energy points, Wuji, Taiji, Wuxing, Grounding, Small Universe, Self-Healing, Qigong Sensory, Dantiens and of course, breathwork.
I was born in Asheville North Carolina. I had the good fortune of living in the Blue Ridge Mountains for most of my childhood. We moved to the North Carolina Piedmont where I met my high school sweetheart and husband, Kevin. After college, we settled in the Midlands of South Carolina. We had three beautiful children, who are now beautiful adults and two spectacular grands!
For years I wanted to learn Tai Chi Chuan. Like many, I began slowly by trial and error through DVDs and YouTube eventually joining a Tai Chi class. Driven by a desire to support a family member’s health journey, I expanded my focus toward Qigong. I was directed by Ken Cohen, a pioneer of Qigong in the United States, and Clayton Crosley, President of the National Qigong Association (NQA), to Master John Munro of Long White Cloud Qigong in New Zealand where I began and continue my formal studies. I am also training with Dr. Matthew Komelski in Roanoke, Virginia, focusing on Qigong and Hunyuan Taiji Gong Fa.
I continue to teach various drop-in classes in the Midlands. I now offer small group class intensives, individual practice and consultation as well as group Pop-Ups in both the Midlands and Waynesville, North Carolina. I invite you to join our community and experience the restorative power of these ancient practices.
In peace,
Lee
